Named this way because it seems to be balancing on its hind legs, Funambule is drawn by a set of curves, contrasting materials and textures. It is an elegant clean lined chair that combines the minimalism of a fine steel structure, balanced by the sensory properties of a natural leather seat.
The curves of the structure are studied on several levels; they give the chair an easy grab, allowing the owner to conveniently carry it from the table to the living room, or to the balcony for a sunbathe.
In addition, the curve that shapes its hind legs and unites the backrest (drawing shoulders to the structure) invites the user to hang a sweater, a scarf, a towel, or a plaid for the cool days.
Funambule was finalist of the Interio Design Contest 2018
